In writing this blog, I am learning the power of the printed word. Writing out my thoughts have helped me clarify my thinking. In the article from Inc magazine, Jessica Stillman writes about the Return of Writing. A couple of high-powered business leaders are pushing employees and job candidates to flex their atrophying writing muscles to write out presentations rather than use emails or powerpoints to help clarify thinking.
My friend, Dan Black says “To reach your personal potential requires practicing in the areas of your greatest talents.” In the blog, he describes What Practice Does for your Talents. Practice may not make perfect, but it does serve some good purposes.
I am saving the best blog for last, How to Influence People and Change the World. I had seen the accompanying video before reading it in this blog. The blog itself it extremely inspiring. Author Charles Specht demonstrates how one person can drastically change another person’s life. I’ve also inserted the video here. But I would highly recommend you reading the blog.
