TJ’s Spotlight

Leave is over. Back in Korea.

you-keep-saying-youre-overbookedI guess that is why these certain articles caught my eye this week. The first one is How to Create More Margin in Your Life, by Michael Hyatt. It seems I am not the only one to lose control of my calendar. Michael Hyatt talks about making a gap between our work load and our limits. So, number one on my “to do” list is rework my schedule.

sluggishWith my schedule re-worked and my priorities in order, I’ll have to just get to work. The second blog that caught my eye is 7 Tips on Creating Workplace Motivation by Kunle Adeniran. I need a little push to take Nike’s advice, and “Just Do It.”

stillNow that I am running around re-prioritizing and getting things done, I need to develop The Practice of Stillness. Even God took a day of rest. I need to take time not being a “Human Doing” and becoming a “Human Being” again.

That gives you an idea of where my head is right now. Vacation is over.

campfireBut that doesn’t mean that I don’t have vacation stories to tell. Joseph Lalonde writes how to Gain Influence By Telling Better Stories . I am going to take his advice and give you some stories soon.

Got to get back to work.
